Nswanjere Junior Seminary

We inspire our seminarians to dream in accordance with God’s call, learn with depth and discipline, do more in service to others, and become men of character and faith on their journey through life.

Formation Starts Hear.

Founded in 1964 by Archbishop Joseph Kiwanuka as a “nursery bed” for vocations, Nswanjere Junior Seminary has built a lasting legacy of educational excellence. We remain committed to providing an academically rigorous, integral Catholic education to young men who will walk out ready for lives of leadership and service to the Church and community. From sacred study to music, sports, and art, each day is filled with activities that are enriching, formative, and foster brotherhood.

We are committed to the holistic formation of every seminarian. This commitment, rooted in the legacy of Archbishop Joseph Kiwanuka, is realized through our dedicated staff, our engaged alumni association, and our proud, active network of parents, well-wishers, and friends who partner in this sacred work.

These options now reflect the seminary’s unique identity, history, and the spiritual partnership essential to its mission. Please let me know if you would like any further adjustments.

We count each day  as a blessing, thanks to the lively spirit of our seminarians and the unwavering commitment of our staff. Together, they create the vibrant, formative environment that defines our seminary life.
